One of six finalists selected to participate in a four month intensive development and packaging programme for the Moxie Makers - The Big Pitch scheme, supported by Skillset. Joining the project is Producer Bex Hopkins who has just completed post production on another Moxie makers feature Mad Sad & Bad.

Selected for The Big Pitch 2008 development scheme

I am one of 12 filmmakers selected for interview as part of the Moxie Makers - The Big Pitch. Over 200 projects applied for the scheme including multi-award winning filmmakers from around the country. This national competiton invites you to win the largest feature film production prize in the UK (£250,000).

Through to the next round of The Big Pitch

Selected for the next round in the Moxie Makers - The Big Pitch scheme, which involves a four day intensive workshop with 8 chosen teams. The Moxie Panel have selected each project based on talent, experience, marketability and quality. The panel consists of Christine Alderson and Hayley Manning (Moxie Makers), Lorianne Hall (Ipso Facto Films), Eve Gabereau (Soda Pictures) and Denise Parkinson (Bauer Media).

Five Week Intensive Producer Training

Awarded a Skillset Film Futures bursary to attend the NPA Five Week Intensive Producer Training course located at the Sheridan's Media Lawyers firm. The course is designed specifically for filmmakers with a scripted feature at packaging stage, or similarly who are seriously looking to move into feature financing and production.

Selected to direct Digital Short

Selected to direct one of this years Screen South Digital Shorts, a brilliant five minute script written by Colin Metcalfe.

New draft of Blackout set in UK

Completed Draft V of Blackout, which has now been relocated from the remote woodlands of the Ardennes to the bleak and decayed Island Of Sheppey. This new and greatly improved draft was completed with the support from freelance script editor Kate Leys.

Delfilm becomes Delfilm Digital

The Registrar of companies for England and Wales certifies that Delfilm Limited, by special resolution, is now incorporated under the new name of Delfilm Digital Limited.

How To Sell Your Film

Attended a 5 day workshop in East London on 'How To Sell Your Film' organised by CIDA. The programme offered filmmakers the tools to sell their film, covering developing audiences, identifying buying trends, creating a marketing package for your film and how to gain the best from digital distribution platforms.

Happiness Thief gets Screen South funding for script editor

Screen South awards Delfilm £250 for script editor Liz Garner, to provide detailed notes in preperation for draft 2 of the feature length screenplay of The Happiness Thief.
