I have just completed a 115 page exploratory draft in just three weeks for a new psychological ghost story called The Unrest based on my memories at school, my childhood obsessions with girls,

my fear of death and a re-ocuring nightmare I used to have.

My friend and producer Lisa Parker, tragically passed away just a month and ten days before her 40th birthday. She was loved and respected by hundreds of people in the film industry, having given many of us our first break. Her laughter and generosity will not be forgotton. 

Offer to write adaptation of the children's novel MOMO

Accepted the offer to write the first draft screenplay adaptation to the 1973 German novel MOMO written by Michael Ende, author of The Neverending Story. 

1st draft of The Happiness Thief feature script completed

Finished the official first draft of the feature length version of The Happiness Thief, which will now be the first of three films following the adventures of Emily Goodchilde.

The Happiness Thief set to become a children's novel

An official children's novelisation of THE HAPPINESS THIEF is being written by literary novelist Richard Carden, based on my thirty page treatment for the feature length film. This will be Carden's eighth major novel as a writer and by his own admission, his best to date. Lets hope it gets those film financiers salivating when it hits the book stores!

Magic Light Pictures offer to develop Blackout

Producer's Malcolm Rose (Chicken Run) and Martin Pope (A Lawless Heart) offer to develop BLACKOUT under their new production company Magic Light Pictures, based at Pinewood Studios.
